McCalls 5087 Braid and rick rack brighten a gay young twirler in crisp checks. Braid is easy to apply with braiding foot on sewing machine. Stitch trim in place while applying last row of braid. Girls Dress with Attached Petticoat: Braid trimmed dress with fitted bodice and three-gore gathered skirt; gathered net petticoat included in waistline seam. Back buttoned bodice has set-in, below elbow sleeves, gathered into contrast bands to match collar. Belt is attached at front, loose at side seams and back, threaded through side carriers and back buckle. Lower edge of petticoat bound with dress fabric.
