Description
Simplicity 1949 – The square-necked bodice, fitted with darts, buttons down the center back and features extended shoulders. The lower edge of the bodice comes to a point at the center front below the natural waistline. The gathered skirt, in Style I, is cut in three sections, and in Styles II and III, in two sections. Styles 1 and II are trimmed with beading and ribbon. In Style III, the patch pockets, gathered at the upper and lower edges, are bound. Tie ends form a bow at the center back.
